Framing underway

Visted on April 22nd (after taking an entire truckload of boxes to our storage unit)...

Forgot the digital camera, so only have a couple "cell phone" photos, but here is the first floor framing:

Kate and Chas met us there, so here walking up the "drive" toward the house are (L to R), Chas, Kate & John:

I love my window seat and the view from the kitchen.... can't wait for the second floor and the porch!

First Floor

The beginning of April found us with a floor down on top of the basement that we could walk around on and start to visualize the location of the rooms and windows.

When you STAND on it, however, the view is entirely different. Here is my sister Pam and brother-in-law Dave in the kitchen-to-be:

With all this progress, we rented a storage unit in SC and actually began to move a few things. Since we love ceremony, here is John moving the "FIRST BOX":
